For our next Project Spotlight, Premier is proud to feature our The Notary Hotel – an Autograph Collection destination in Philadelphia. Adding to our excitement to spotlight this project, we’re also proud to share that Marriott Bonvoy has been including The Notary Hotel in a number of their currently running social media advertising campaigns (visit @MarriottBonvoy on Instagram for glimpses of the property in their ads).

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Premier’s Interior Design team, Procurement team, and Project Management team led the $20 million renovation and reflagging of the former Marriott Philadelphia Downtown, and converted it to one of Marriott’s newest Autograph Collection® boutique destinations.

As part of Premier’s vision for the property, our team embraced a program of “history meets modern.” Refreshing and updating the iconic Classic Revival Style of the original 1920’s architecture, Premier modernized both public and guestroom spaces with luxurious wood finishes, “collected” artifacts, intimate lighting treatments, richly-hued color palettes, and high-end materials and fabrics to balance the historic nature of the property with the modern elegance of the Autograph brand.

Functionally, the hotel’s 499 guestrooms were updated. Additionally, over 10,000 square feet of conference space throughout 12 event rooms and banquet space were redesigned, including the introduction of the 3,000-square foot Junipers Ballroom. Adding to the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, Premier introduced space for the new Sabroso and Sorbo restaurant, offering an elegantly elevated casual dining destination at the north-east edge of Penn Square.
