Appointment advances Premier’s standing as a national, full-service architectural design firm with expanded new-build, adaptive reuse, and mixed-use project capabilities
DALLAS, TX – MARCH 25, 2025 – Premier, an end-to-end architecture, design, procurement, project management, corporate engineering, and development firm with specialization in hospitality, multi-family residential, student housing, adaptive reuse, and commercial mixed-use projects, is pleased to announce that Aimee Sanborn, AIA, NCARB, has been appointed as the firm’s new Senior Vice President of Architecture. Sanborn joined Premier in 2023 as the firm’s Senior Vice President of Adaptive Reuse and Mixed-Use, and was tasked with spearheading the company's national expansion into the adaptive reuse, historic conservation, and mixed-use segments. Recognizing her success growing Premier’s capabilities in those segments, Sanborn will now lead the entirety of Premier’s Architecture team while continuing her work to grow Premier’s standing as adaptive reuse and mixed-use experts.
Sanborn’s appointment to lead Premier’s Architecture team is part of the firm’s wider effort to rapidly and significantly grow its capabilities and standing as a national full-service architectural design firm. With a focus on developing Premier’s new-build hotel, multi-family residential, and commercial mixed-use design practices, the addition of Sanborn’s extensive expertise significantly advances the company’s strategic efforts.

Inspired by a passion for helping communities and clients create and preserve city-defining buildings and spaces by way of innovative new-build and adaptive reuse architectural design, Aimee brings two decades of studio leadership experience to Premier’s Architecture team. Her portfolio includes a deep list of projects spanning new-build high-rise multifamily, luxury residential, hospitality, speculative office spaces, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and industrial projects.

Prior to joining Premier, Sanborn held senior leadership roles at two national architecture firms, including Principal at Powers Brown Architecture, and Partner, Principal, and Studio Leader while at Merriman Anderson Architects. Aimee graduated from the University of South Florida with a master’s degree in architecture. She is currently a licensed architect in 25 states.
